We strive to be a home away from home for patients and caregivers seeking medical treatment in Nashville hospitals by providing lodging, meals and other supportive services. To fulfill this mission, we offer a variety of programs and services, and we partner with many donors, volunteers and other community agencies to create our home -- a home many of us never think about needing until we find ourselves far from home and needing medical treatment. Our goal is to provide an atmosphere conducive to spiritual support, love and encouragement; while offering a place where guests can enjoy a warm meal, get a good night's rest and receive other supportive services.   Guests of the Hospital Hospitality House enjoy quiet private rooms, each featuring a handicap-accessible bath and individual telephone line with voicemail service. Also available are spacious and inviting communal kitchen and living areas. Comfortably and beautifully furnished, these areas encourage socializing and offer opportunities for guests to escape the stress inherent to a sudden, or long-term hospital stay in an unfamiliar city. Original facility at 214 Reidhurst Ave Since 1974, Hospital Hospitality House has provided over 300,000 nights of lodging to people in need, serving guests from all 95 counties in Tennessee, all 50 states in the U.S. and 38 foreign countries.
