There are plenty of volunteer opportunities at the Hospital Hospitality House. We appreciate all efforts in helping make our guests feel comfortable, and they enjoy the social interaction. Waiting Room Outreach There are many volunteer opportunities available in this expanding program! Volunteers help prepare and deliver baskets stocked with toiletries, snacks, games, magazines and other items to hospital waiting rooms once a week. Service Projects Many groups perform service projects at HHH, working on a special need such as cleaning and organizing, painting, landscaping, special events, massages, music, etc. These projects, whether one-time or ongoing, are wonderful team-building exercises for business groups, social clubs and religious groups while helping HHH meet the needs of our guests. Dinner Volunteer Our guests love home-cooked meals! You, your family or your group/club can provide an evening meal once a month for our guests. Dinners may be prepared onsite or dropped off at the volunteer's convenience. House Volunteer Volunteers are needed Monday through Friday during office hours to help assist guests, stock supplies, work with databases, prepare mailings, straighten the residence, etc. Residence Volunteer Evening volunteers assist with meals, maintaining the residence, coordinating special activities for the guests and just visiting with guests who want to talk. Friends of Hospital Hospitality House This incredible auxilary of HHH has been active for over twenty-five years! Friends meets monthly at HHH and performs a variety of services including providing wish list items and hosting our annual Holiday Open House.
